FAQ

  • What is power yoga?

  • Do I need to register in advance for classes?
You may register for classes through our website but it is not necessary. (Pre-registration is required, however, for workshops to reserve your space).  Plan to arrive at the studio 5-10 minutes before class starts to sign in and allow yourself time to get centered.

  • How hot is the studio?
For Power classes the studio is heated to approximately 85 degrees. For other classes, temperatures are in the 80-degree range.

  • What should I wear to class?
Wear comfortable yet relatively tight-fitting workout clothes so the teacher can see your alignment. Yoga is practiced barefoot.

  • What should I bring to class?
Bring a yoga mat if you have one. Otherwise, we have mats you can borrow. You may want to bring a towel and a water bottle.

  • How often should I practice yoga?
A consistent yoga practice (at least 2-3 times per week) is recommended to receive the full benefits of yoga. The more you practice, the better you will feel, the stronger and more centered you will become.
